HTTP Port Error (80 and 443)

Symptom: The OutSystems Platform Community Edition fails to install due to an HTTP port error. The OutSystemsInstall.log shows an error with the HTTP ports (“HTTPPortOK: false”).

Cause: The OutSystems Platform Community Edition needs ports 80 and 443 to be bound to its services. Common services running on this ports are Apache (httpd.exe) and Skype.

Resolution: Change the ports used by those services or install the OutSystems Platform Community Edition on a “clean” install of a Windows machine.
