This really needs the abbreviations for CountryState (NY, CA, GA, etc.). :(

Yeah, I see your point, it would come in quite handy to filter by these acronyms, too.

Do you know if there is a standard for these we could look at? We could have a look at this one for US states, but the rest of the world doesn't seem to have a consensus.

 US states are definitely standardized, I can't speak for the rest of the world. In the US these are critical because mailing addresses use them.
