[OutSystems Now] TakePicture function doesn't work in a Popup window

Is this according to "design" ?

We use currently a popup that displays the picture in a popup. From there i have created a button that should call the camera function. But that doesn't work....

Because I think it's a problem with the popup I started building it in a modal (in a webblock). Perhaps that works, but I want to have this question answered for future purposes :)

Sorry for the late reply.

Are you using PopupEditor from RichWidgets? I was able to take a picture from a popup and show it in the popup using this Widget and OutSystems Now TakePicture.

Hi,

I have the same problem. I can't get the TakePicture function to work in a popup window.
I followed all the steps César suggested but the camera still won't open.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hello Guðrún.

Are you developing a mobile application or a web application? If it's a mobile application, you can reference the Camera Plugin and call the TakePicture client action.

I'm developing a web application that's also used in OutSystems Now and I'm trying to take photos from a popup window inside OutSystems Now.
