Mobile App - Background activity
Question

Hi,


Is it possible for a iOS mobile app to keep using location services even when the phone is on sleep mode or after we change to another app?

I've tried it through Outsystems Now, but it stops right after I change the application.

Hi Marcio,

You could try one of the following forge components:

https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/1727/backgroundmode-plugin/

https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/1623/background-location-plugin/

But be careful, they don't work in Outsystems Now, because these components are not pre-build into Outsystems Now. You have to create a native app and run it on your phone.
