Silk UI Design Assets
Discussion

Hey everyone!

Did you know you can download a series of assets from the Silk UI Website?

You can download our Cheat Sheet, the Styleguide and Design Assets for Sketch — for both web and mobile.

We want to draw your attention to our Sketch design assets. They allow designers to easily build styleguides using all OutSystems Widgets and Patterns. With these assets, you can change colors and styles, creating a very fast interaction between design and development with OutSystems.

Enjoy! :)

Hi João,

Hi Paul, I just downloaded the .sketch file and saved it again with the most recent version of sketch. Then I was able to open it with XD and save it as an .xd file

Please find the .xd file attached to this post. See if this helps you :)

Great this helps. can you also do the same action for the SilUIWeb file?

Thanks!

Paul

Sure! here it is :)

Hi Marina,

We use Adobe XD to create our designs. Unfortunatly the sketch file is from an older version of sketch. Can you provide me with an upgraded sketch file?

Thanks!

Paul

Hi Paul,

These Silk UI design assets were indeed created on an older version of Sketch and not very updated since then. Tell me more about your case, are you not able to import this Sketch file to Adobe XD? Or not able to open them on a recent version of Sketch?

Regards,

João

In addition, we'll update these two assets in our Silk UI website.

Thanks for the feedback.

While on the matter of things on websites, is there a PhoneStyleGuide.oml sample eSpace for OutSystems UI like there is for Silk UI? I couldn't find it anywhere...

Not quite. I'm talking about samples using OutSystems UI, not Silk. So, the equivalente of this

but for the new UI Framework.

Ok, I think it's not released anywhere. But you can just open that on OS 11 and update the references.

There is no difference between Silk UI Mobile and OutSystems UI Mobile. It's just an upgrade of the server version.

Is there a sketch design system template for Silk UI?

Hi Lim,

For Silk UI, specifically to Lisbon template, you have this Sketch file. Is not so advanced as the one from OutSystems UI that what I'm supposed you were looking for, since it doesn't have so many symbols and styles prepared.

Regards.
