I would like to have an extension of this plugin, to be able to customize the sound when receiving an OneSignal notification, like explained in https://documentation.onesignal.com/docs/customize-notification-sounds.
There is a sound parameter in the payload structure, but this cannot be set from the application when sending a notification.
Can this be added to this plugin? If not, what is the best way to implement this? I want it to work when the app is background mode as well. I've been also reading this post, but I believe that's not the best way..

Indeed Frans, and that is not the behaviour I want. I want to use the native OneSignal functionality. Not a workaround, which doesn't always work.
Is this functionality resolved. Can I get some guidance how to implement custom notification sound for ios using onesignal.
