Hi Guys,

Currently building a mobile website. I'm currently generating QR code and reading it successfully from my pc camera. Is there a way to make it work on a mobile device?

Hi Miguel,

I have tried using it through the browser on 2 iphones. Safari and Chrome did not work.

All android devices work perfectly.

I have found a work around though so no problem. I'm using the ZXing Services decoder.

Hi Werner,

There's a different component for Mobile. It's a plugin that enables an application to scan barcodes and QR codes.
Check it out here: https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/1403/barcode-plugin/

Hi Miguel,

Thanks for the reply. I tried it on my phone (iPhone 7 Plus) and it doesn’t scan at all? Pressing Start just opens a black window on the screen? It allows me to select between camera #1 and camera #2, but both show just a black square.
