When we tried to install NetworkFileSystem to Oracle Platform, we got the following error message.

Message:
This Extension database type (SqlServer) is not compatible with the current Platform Database type (Oracle).

Hi Keigo,

Strange that on the Forge it says its for all databases but ig you open it on the Integration Studio the DBMS is set to SqlServer. Did you try to change this for all and check if it works?

disclaimer: dont know if the component will keep working even if it publish. But it should because I dont see why this component needs to use the database.

Marcelo

Thank you, Marcelo-san,

After updated DBMS to "(All)", the install was successfully completed.

However "FileSystem" was overwritten by "NetworkFileSystem".

I wonder why the forge is updated. Is it means we cannot use both "FileSystem" and "NetworkFileSystem" at the sametime?

Hi Keigo,

To be honest I never notice that one replace the other but I tested and I have the same behavior. Dunno why this happen.

Marcelo

The original Network FileSystems is based on FileSystems extension; but it could be cloned now. In ver 4.x it was not possible to clone a extension.
