What is the best preparation prior to doing an Expert Web Developer exam?
The exam sheet states:
Topics like Architecture and Best Practices have a strong focus on this exam. To prepare for the exam, we strongly recommend that you attend a Support Engineer Boot Camp. You should also check all the materials suggested for the Professional Developer exam.
Which, apart from attending a Support Engineer Boot Camp, isn't any different to what one needs to learn for the Professional Web Developer exam.
Are there any other documents apart from what I can find on the learn site to read?

No.
The exam is more difficult and longer (3 hours, 50 questions). The subjects are more or less the same, with the exception maybe of troubleshooting, Devops and infrastructure (from the Support Engineer Bootcamp).
