Hoping someone can provide some insight or assistance.

We are getting a warning/error when using the plugin:

Device failed. Failed to register device (status:"Receiver com.cm.hybridmassagingplugin.NotificationListenerStartewrBroadcastReceiver is not set with a permission com.google.android.c2dm.permission.SEND")

what makes this even weirder is that this is happening to our existing app that was working fine before.
Also, if we create a new app we don't get this, and if we recreate our app, we also don't get this.
*note we bring in exactly the same dependencies.

Hope someone can shed light as to the cause of this.
