I was passing certification and multiple times I was seeing an error, something like 'sting and trunc method'. Did this happen to anyone? I was kind of worried it'd affect the score or exam overall. I sure wasn't able to take a screenshot or picture to share this, but I think this is something Outsystems should look into.
Hi Roman and all,
We are looking into the error and I will try to provide you with an update when I know more or I'm sure we've fixed the error. The exam app runs fine and those errors don't occur in our environment, but when delivered through the ProctorU secure browser the errors pop up and we don't have direct access to the secure browser for testing.
Thanks for letting us know about the errors and we'll provide an update when we know more.
Regards,

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the rapid response. I'm glad you are looking into this and I hope the next time we pass any certification it'll go smooth.
Hi Roman,
That's true, outsystems should review the certification "forms".
Usually, when the exam begins, appears an feedback message with an error, i think "string or binary data would be truncated"

Hi Roman Tkachenko,
When I did my certifications I also noticed that error. I think it was in the beggining of the exam, when I selected the first answer.
Same here. I even had a collegae who reported it to the proctor and then the exam was aborted :-(
It's already there for a very long time and it scares me again every time I take an exam...

It's true... I had got that error always as i made the exam.
The same happen to me, when I select the first answer show an error message. Then no more errors and doesn't seem to affect exam score
Hi,
Maybe it's better to contact support about this topic. It's something important and that can interfere with our concentration levels in the exams.

Yes, the 1st contact is an error, yes it is bad.
Closing the topic. Apparently, people don't bother to read the answer by Scott, and keep on repeating the same.
