Google Cloud Vision should automatically detect text in any of the supported languages (list here). So in theory, it should work with Arabic. In practice, however, that doesn't always work. For some languages, it's necessary to specify which language the API should look for. At the moment, my extension doesn't support that, but I'm already working on it. I expect to publish a new version with this feature in the coming days.
Sorry for the delay, but I was having trouble uploading a new version of the component to the Forge. Anyway, there's a new version available that accepts language hints when performing the OCR, which should allow the component to recognize any of the supported languages (full list here). You can give it a try here.
