[Firebase Cloud Message Plugin] Not receiving notifications in the background for ios

Hi,

We have integrated Firebase memssage plugin for mobile applications ., We are able to receive push-notifications in Android , where as in ios we are able to receive, when the app is in the foreground.Not able to receive notifications when the app is in the background.Can any one help.

Solution

Finally we have solved issue., the issue is because of Azure AD and Firebase Mobile plugins incompatibility.We solved that issue with the help of the following thread : https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/53581/ios-azure-ad-firebase-mobile-plugins-incompatibility/

Hi Harish,

Did you connect your app with Apple Push Notification service (APNs) by uploading either the APNs authentication key or APNs certificates?

This is done on the Firebase console / Settings.


This certificate should be from the productive environment I think.

Hi Madalena, 

We have configured Plist and production APN cecrtcertificates in the firebase environment . We but we are still unable to receive notifications in ios devices.
