How do I recover a closed development environment?

Hello

I was inactive for a while so my Development Environment was closed. I have since downloaded an app backup. However, I cannot  seem to able to open them. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to create a new environment and then try to open them again?

Please help me, I truly do not want to lose all my previous work

Thank you,

T F

Hi T F,

Normally when your Personal Environment (PE) is shut down, you receive an email from OutSystems with a backup of your apps. This should be an OutSystems Solution Pack file (.OSP) that contains all the applications you had in your PE.

If you have created a new PE, you can login to Service Center via https://<yourpersonalenvironmentname>.outsystemscloud.com/servicecenter and go to Factory >> Solutions >> Upload & Publish a Solution, choose your OSP file and publish it.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

If you have a backup, you will need to fetch a new personal environment (in this link https://www.outsystems.com/home/) and then publish your backup in the new environment.

Note that your data is lost forever.

Hope this can help.

Hi, Ricardo

Thank you for your quick response.

I do not mind the data being deleted, as longs as the app is still intact. If I create a new environment can I still download the backup? In other words, will the download backup option disappear after creating a new environment_

Thank you,

T F

I've downloaded the backup but I'm getting error 'The page was not displayed because the request entity is too large.' while following the given steps. How can I go ahead?
