How can I use the Interaction/video component to pass the device URI instead of an online URL to display the video?

I have already tried using GetFileUrlFromUri client action from the FilePlugin plugin.

But I get the following error: "window.resolveLocalFileSystemURI is not a function". I have tried regenerating APK and reinstalled the application. Could someone please help with getting past this error or let us know if there is any other way of doing this. 

P.S. I have also tried a couple of other components such as FileSystem & File Viewer Plugin. However, I didn't have much luck with those either.
