I am trying to generate a build for my Android mobile app, but getting the following error.
"In Android on 26/11/2021 at 01:32:00 - Couldn't install the Cordova plugin cordova-plugin-firebase': TypeError: Cannot read property '1."
The IOS app was built without any errors.
I am using the latest version (Version 1.0.8) of Firebase mobile.
And the MABS version is 8.0

We currently working to make this component compatible with the mabs 8.
In the alternative, you can generate your app with mabs 7.2, which is a supported version.

Hi Amol,
The newest version of the plugin (1.0.11) is now compatible with both MABS 8.0 and 7.2 and you shouldn't encounter this error anymore when generating an Android build.

Good Day! I'm facing the same issue. My MABS version 7.2 was obsolete.so i go with 9.0 for update and generate my build it failed and shows the following error.
if we go with 8.1 MABS version that also end in MAY 2023.So we prferrred 9.0 MABS version.
this is from log file :Failed to install 'Cordova-plugin-firebase': Type Error: Cannot read properties of null (reading '1')
