Hi, I found while it works using mouse, it does not work if I click the menu item using the trackpad on my laptop.

Thanks for pointing this out. I hadn't noticed.

I fixed the issue and uploaded a new version (v1.3.2).
You can test it out on the demo:

I tested myself, and now trackpad/touchpad clicks should work.
