ODC Ready Badge Not Showing
Question

Hello! 

It seems that after finishing the course the badge wasn’t assigned. 

Did anyone else had the same issue?

BTW: How do we delete an unwanted App or Library?

Michael, yes that's it. I've just received this message from the support team:  "ODC-Ready badges are awarded every Sunday. We do have an automatic process that checks the course completion and the 2 applications every Sunday."

So, here you go.

Did you have your badge assigned?
Maybe I have missed some name on the Apps or so. 
I did not get the badge :/ And the number keeps increasing (so they are indeed checking).

No, unfortunately I haven't received the badge yet. I'm going to open a support case to see if there's a resolution.

Hi,

Sorry, but not aware about any badge after finishing any course. You only get some points to complete the course. May be I am missing on this, could you provide some example of this.

Now question : How you can delete unwanted applications or library. : For this you can delete the applications and libraries from service studio or service center directly. Just on detail page of application and delete it. If there is specific case or issue you are facing then please let me know.

This question is specifically for OutSystem Developer Cloud version of the platform.

It’s laying in plain sight on the community’s landing page.

ODC Studio (not Service Studio) functions a little different.

Hi Miguel,

As per instructions "Build your first two apps using OutSystems Developer Cloud. To ensure we can validate the two apps created and you received your ODC badge, please do not change the app’s name. " 

So if you already completed two apps it may take sometime until badge displayed on your profile. If it is not displayed in next few days I suggest to communicate with OutSystems training support team

I am not sure when you will get this badge as I didn't start my training yet.

I am not sure if you used same email address for training and for your OutSystems community account, if yes so you can contact training support team.

I actually masked my email - it was an option to input an alternative email - ODC Organisations are shared and I thought it would be mapped with my account.

I‘ll test the Link Accounts new feature, maybe that helps…

It did not work, the masked email was not considered for a full account - will wait for someone at the OS Staff to reply or send an email to training support team.

Hi Miguel,

I've also completed the ODC Course but still no ODC Ready badge. Maybe it will be sorted out until the end of the week? Some feedback from the training support team would be great.

It's possible that the assessment of completion and assigning of badges is performed by a scheduled task, in which case, likely to take place at midnight UTC. Perhaps check again in another hour. If it's manually assessed, that will depend on people's backlog. :)

I remembered now, there were 2 apps, the Holidays app, and another app I forgot, I think it is about management.
We just have to download the apps and work on them, then deliver them for review, once validated you obtain the ODC badge
