Hi,

first of all, thanks for making this, I have just downloaded it, so didn't really use it extensively yet.

But here's already some ideas on features I would enjoy having.

And sorry if they are already there but I just haven't found them yet !

  • remember the last view I have been in (at least during single session, but preferably across sessions, or maybe allow a user preference)
  • make the views bookmarkable, so i can have bookmarks in my browser to folders i work on a lot
  • when adding a folder, say in the popup to what parent folder you are adding it, or let user even still change it there in case he was standing on wrong folder when choosing 'add folder'
  • ability to delete folder
  • offer an accelerator to do some common things
    • like moving all standard apps from Outsystems out of the way into a given folder (like all the lifetime stuff,  users, service center, system, app feedback, outsystems ui, outsystems standard templates,...)
    • I'm assuming these folders are set up per user, so ability to share the way they are organised among users in a factory

and a few ones that would probably be too much distance from what you guys are planning to do, but you can't blame a girl for asking

  • give more info about the indivual modules in the applications
  • maybe even allow to open a module directly in Service Studio, instead of opening the application
  • maybe even allow modules to be organised into folders
  • instead of 1-many a many-many between folder and application or even between folder and module, so I can organize my applications and modules along different axis (for example, a set of folders grouping everything based on where the app or module came from, but another set of folders grouping them based on some common traits, like all being about Datagrid, or all being about charts, regardless of where they came from, so a chart module coming from the forge would be in the 2 folders 'origin/forge' and 'technology/charts')

@Dorine Boudry We really appreciate the feedback and recommendations here.  All of which are under consideration and some are already on our roadmap and being worked on.  Here is a summary of what is upcoming in the next release shortly.

1) Two additional context menu options

2) Three additional left side navigation views

Lastly for this item, "when adding a folder, say in the popup to what parent folder you are adding it, or let user even still change it there in case he was standing on wrong folder when choosing 'add folder'".  You can just  drag-n-drop the folders just like you can the apps.
