Hello!
If you do the ODC course are you still able to get the certification for free?
Hello Mariana Santos,
It depends if OS will or not going to open more slots. More likely, yes :) But basically, in order to do the certification for free you have to have access to an ODC environment and you should wait for an available slot:
Also, you need to have the Associate Reactive certification. If you pass the Reactive certification, and after concluding the ODC training you should receive the ODC Associate Developer certification badge and the ODC Ready one.
After you completed the OutSystems Developer Cloud training, badges for ODC Associate Developer are awarded every Sunday, so it can take a few days to show up. You will be able to see it on your profile page, on the tab Badges. For more information, please visit this post:

Ana
Hi Ana. Just wondering, is there are any difference between the Course,
https://www.outsystems.com/training/courses/206/from-o11-to-outsystems-developer-cloud/ and Training https://www.outsystems.com/ODCTraining/Schedule ?
In this forum,
https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/85379/ready-for-odc-new-training-and-certification-are-now-live/
it stated that by completing the course will automatically give me the free certification for ODC Associate Developer. Meanwhile, you stated in order to get the free certification, I must complete the training.
So, which one should I complete in order to get free ODC Associate Developer certification?
Thank you in advance.
Hello @Aniq, As explained before, in order for a person to achieve the ODC certification for free, that person should have the Associate Reactive and fully complete the "From OutSystems 11 to OutSystems Developer Cloud" course. In order to complete that course, you need to submit 2 apps. For that, you should schedule the ODC training. It allows you to have access to a could environment for one week and enables you to test and code that two apps. After submission, you will earn the ODC badge and the certification for free. Note, for now, the slots are full. You have to wait a little longer for new slots. Only after submitting the apps and completely finish the course, you will earn the badge. Once again, the course it is only completely finished after the videos and the submission of the sample exercises app. My recommendation is:
Enable the switch and wait for the new slots. After that, sign in and fully complete the course. Submit the apps and a few days later the badges and the certification will be granted to you if everything is okay. Best regards, Ana
Hello @Aniq,Just to let you know, there are more slots available.
Hi Ana. Thank you for reminder. I already registered for the training. Hoping to finish this training as soon as possible.
Hi @Ana Agostinho ,
As you mentioned , I turned on for notifications, I missed out this previous opportunity .
I'm waiting for it from last week ,Is there any chance there will be schedule in upcoming weeks training available ? or it is closed ?
Thanks in advance.
Hello Vijay,
Yes, it is expected that new slots will be available soon. The upcoming weeks are closed but stay tuned on the schedule link and as soon new slots are available OS will inform :)
Best regards and happy coding,
Thanks Ana , Glad to hear.
There are available new slots :) @vijay r
I have registered a slot.
Thanks a lot :) @Ana Agostinho
Hi Ana,
I have completed the training and submitted the 2 apps after completely developing and deploying to test. I have submitted on 30th April itself but not yet received the badge or certification. Any possible reason for it?
Regards,
Shree
Hello @Shreelakshmi Shivaramu,
I assume that is not normal. Anyway, I think you should contact training@outsystems.com in order to have a proper answer.
They are responsible for certifications and training, so they will give you a better answer than anyone else :)
Best regards, Ana
HI Ana i have ODC Ready Badge but do not completed Reactive Wed Certification. If once i clear my Reactive Web Certification. After that how to get the ODC voucher or certification can you explain process
Hello Vinay Kiran,
Regarding this question, the guidelines provided by OS were that people who already have the Reactive certification after completing the ODC Ready will have the certification for free, not the opposite. But in case of doubts, the best is to send a message directly to OS. For that, you should contact training@outsystems.com in order to have a proper answer.
Hi,
You need to complete the course as well as the excercises in the course. That would benifit you with a certification for ODC.

Thats great news
thats great news
Got my ODC badge and Associate Dev Certificate for free. Thanks for sharing :)
Hello, I completed the From to ODC training but I still haven't received the certificate. I only received the completion badge. What should I do?
Hello Johnatas,
Do you have the Reactive certification? You are only able to receive the badge of the ODC certification if you previously have done the Reactive certification.
Does anyone know if it's still possible to get this certification only with the Reactive Certification and the submission of the Apps?
Best,
Joana
yes it still applies
Is it still possible to get this certification when having the Reactive Certification and do the "From O11 to ODC" module and the submission of the Apps?
Thanks,
Hans
till the end of mach 2024
Only challenge is that there are no slots available right now ;-(
Any change that new slots became available?
Greetings,
Hello Hans,
Unfortunately, based on this post (https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/94963/final-call-for-odc-training/), I believe that no more slots will be available.
Many developers work for a partner or customer, and can use the partner or customer tenant, as such my reply is still valid.
For those that require a slot, it is indeed an issue unfortunately.
The O11 to ODC training page and mails only mentions that you'll receive a badge after completion, not the certification. Or is the certification still given? Even if not mentionned?
I do have a tenant from my company.
So is this the way to go:
- finish the O11 to ODC training
- make the application exercises in my company tenant
- export/save the applications and send them to Outsystems?
If so that will be great. To which address can I send them (when I'm ready).
Hello again Hans,
If I were you, I'd just shoot OutSystems a quick message (meaning, open a training support case) to double-check. If they say it's all good, then you're good to go!
to get the badge you NEED to finish the training with a DEPLOY of your app to Production
