I made a change to a different module, I added one new column to a list, and I'd like to deploy it to QA. However, when I'm in LifeTime there are a bunch of modules in this app that show the not equal symbol to their respective modules in QA. I opened one of the comparisons in Service Studio and this was the result:
This is my first time going through the deployment process like this. How can I interpret this comparison? Is it that those server actions are being using in the dev environment but not in QA? There are a lot of examples of this in that one application, and I don't want to go making a bunch of changes. I literally just wanted to add one column to one list in one module.
For some more background, the app was built by a third-party and handed off to us recently. Adding that column to that list is the first change we've made on our own.
Suggestions on how I should proceed?
It sounds like perhaps someone updated Application Framework in your Non-Prod environment directly, like a hot patch? It would be helpful if you could post a screenshot of what you see in Lifetime when you try to deploy. It's also *very* important to see the Module names in this, to understand what is Application Framework and what was built on top of it. Feel free to obfuscate part of them, but this screenshot has them blurred out to the point where I can't even understand if the changed module was part of the base package or if it was built as part of your engagement.
Thanks!
