Hi everyone!
I have tried some forge components to extract/read text from a PDF, and the component that worked better for me was the PDF Helper!
With that, I have tried to extract text from a PDF in some languages and it worked fine, but there is one problem, it doesn't work properly for arabic text.

Have any of you ever been through this?

Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Carlos

Hi Prince Aadil Khan Panwar!
Thanks for your fast reply!
I have a question: Your solution only works for URL in input parameter, right ?

Best regards,
Carlos

Hi Carlos Mendes

one thing you can do. after generating pdf. you can save the name of the binary file into the binary file output and save or anything you can do. instead of dowloading it directly. hope it helps.

thanks

Prince

You can definitely take help of Google Translate Forge Component.

Can you share one sample document in Arabic, so we can replicate it on our side and see what can be done?

Cheers,
Miguel

Hi Miguel Antunes!
Try this one attached, please.
But I also found some difficulties with documents that have dates and numbers in the middle of the text, as the numbers are duplicating.

Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Carlos

Sorry for the long late reply, Carlos!

I did some tests with the file you provided, and in the demo app I was able to extract the Arabic text.

Is there something that you're doing in between? Did you move forward with this issue?

Again, sorry for the late reply.
