because you can only set the length of the decimal and text type of attributes. not in others. rest have fixed length as it is being written in the article.
yes, for type Text, what is the default value? If i do not put the value it is still okay:
I already told you by the picture there will be no default length till you don't set it as your requirement
So, what is the difference to set the Length say it 1000 and just let it blank?
