Hi, 

I realized the presigned url returned for us-east-1 buckets use Signature Version 2 whereas all other region buckets use Signature Version 4. I'm not sure if this is the reason but presigned url put request to us-east-1 buckets fail with 403 Forbidden response. Buckets in all other regions seem to work fine. 

I have applied the CORS policy to the bucket permissions as well as assign appropriate policies to the IAM user. 

What may be the reasons for only the buckets in us-east-1 region not working as expected?
