Lock an application to prevent it from deployment

Sometimes we have demo applications or apps like Architecture Dashboard or Discovery that should not go to production. It would be nice if an Infrastructure Administrator could 'lock' them in the Development Environment, preventing developers to accidentally put them in production. All locked apps would not be shown on the application list to all non-admin users.

Good idea, Renato.

I could avoid some problems that end up happening when there are many people responsible for a system

Our solution is to put Demo apps in a separate application and assign it to a "no deploy" team in Lifetime.  Then it can never be deployed.  Forge components are different especially if the Demos are still included in the applications.

Changed the category to
Lifetime

Applications can be grouped into Teams in LifeTime.

You can define a Team in LifeTime for applications that should only exist in DEV and control the permissions of the Users of that Team so that they cannot deploy it to other environments.
