Service Studio

In the Current version on Service Studio, Developers Cannot view the Actual Preview of Screen Render(UI) in the studio Until a Publish.

My Idea is to add a feature on Screen right Click to add a option to Preview Screen which opens a Pop-up window showing the Actual Screen Rendering--UI specific

It could Actually benefit new developers to save a lot of time until one get used to the Precedence criteria and class bifurcation(Outsystems UI--custom classes for specific Requirements.

This could Improve the developers delivery speed and to be useful in all ways I hope.

the attached image might seem irrelavant, but intend to show a preview as such!!

Is the preview button (Ctrl+P) not enough?

Ctrl+P would only give Us the current Page applied CSS Preview(which we already have in Canvas).

Actual render (browser preview ) is what I was Expecting without a publish in the Studio.

Merged this idea with 'Live preview Server Concept For UI changes ' (created on 23 Aug 2023 10:52:26 by Prashant Jha)

It is quite difficult to see the change of UI done in browser window, we need to publish every time and refresh the screen to see the actual change.

It will be good to have live preview server concept for UI changes before we publish the UI code.

We can visualize the changes on browser in real time and once we are happy with our UI we can then publish the code.

Merged this idea with 'Screen preview feature' (created on 06 Jan 2024 09:06:39 by Kumar Chandrasekaran)

Implementing a preview feature in Service Studio streamlines UI development by enabling instant previews within the environment, eliminating the need for creating new versions with each change.

Screen can be viewed on service studio itself after a modification done to the UI using the screen preview feature instead of publishing and viewing it on browser.

This not only saves time for developers but also contributes to saving storage space on the database server, as unnecessary versions are avoided.
