It's very common on the forums, the person who created the post doesn't give feedback on the problem or mark a solution as correct.

Currently, we need to send a message to the owner of the post, asking if the issue has been resolved and asking them to mark one of the correct answers. This gets a little difficult to manage when we actively participate in the forums.

Taking this into account, it would be interesting to have some kind of notification (Email or on the portal) asking to the post owner to give feedback on posts that he have created that do not yet have a response marked as a solution.

I believe this can help a lot to find posts where they still need help even if they have a lot of comments.

Nice idea. And what if the post owner never responds again, but the community itself marks a specific answer as the best possible answer so far or something like that, set the status to 'closed / solved' ?

As far as I know, original poster of the question get a big banner to warn them to see if there is a reply that can be marked as solution.

Hello Pedro,

Do you find the need to send a message asking to mark your comment as a solution several times?

Asking because as Daniel mentioned we have a banner warning the original poster to see if the reply can be marked and in the email, users get notifying there is a new comment, there is also a button to mark that comment as a solution.

Thank you,

Hi guys!

and hi @Ricardo Sequeira ! Since I am facing the same problem(if I am not mistaken), I would love to ask you why when I post my question in the forum and with the portal still open I don't see any notifications regarding whether s.o has answered me or not.

I have to constantly check my email or open the post I made and refresh the page to see if S.O. sent something...

Thank you.

Best regards,

Azhar
