I was trying to implement a use case wherein we are trying to scan and read a QR code which is 'Data Matrix' type through a web application with the help of WEB CAM or a hand held scanner attached to the desktop.

But any component doesn't seems to be working for this particular use case. We tried lot many forge components which are mostly of bar code reader. Few were QR code reader also for web app but they didn't scan the 'Data Matrix' type QR code am having.

Tried custom code as well through JS libraries but that doesn't give meaningful response.

It would be great if we can have any in built component or feature to scan and read different types of QR codes like: 

• ISBN-13 Dual Barcode

• Code 39

• Code 93

• Code 128

• GS1 DataBar

• ITF-14

• Codabar

• QR Code *

• PDF 417

• Data Matrix

• Aztec Code
  Same for the barcodes as well.
  Although bar code reader component was working but it's not able to scan the QR codes.
