I find that a lot of the lessons I have done so far tend to skip over some of the detail required for novices. For instance, in the Build a List Screen Exercise documentation. p 13, step 1 says 

1) Double-click the ProjectDetail screen to open it. 

However, the lesson still has the Project screen loaded, and there is no obvious way to get to the ProjectDetail screen. One must intuitively 'know' to go to the top right of the screen to change it. 

So, maybe a choice at start of a lesson or course could be Detailed for Dummies or Brief for Experienced.

I think a Glossary of acronyms and outsystems terminology would be helpful too.
