Currently we can scaffold of other data type variables as supported when we drag them inside a form. except this password field.
May I know the reason behind this? if it is missed then we need to add it.

Password is NOT a datatype, the data type is still text.
However, it indeed seems to be intentional that when the label or name of the attribute is "Password" that you cannot scaffold the entity attribute to a screen or block. I also checked ODC, same behavior there.
I think it is intentional, will check with OutSystems. Regards,
