Better way of selecting a tenant for Test Query

In the Test Query tab, there's a scrollable list of tenants sorted by tenant ID to pick which tenant to test a query with. That is fine with a dozen or so tenants, but we have a few hundred in our test environment and that list is impossible to deal with.

The scrollable list should be replaced with a more robust search system... allow us to pick by name or tenant ID.

Since we can have a large number of Tenants (in our case hundreds), in the Service Studio we should have an autocomplete instead of a simple combo box, where is almost impossible to find the one we need.

To make things worse even the places where we can chose the Tenants are ordered differently, since in a test query is ordered by identifier and in the option Module > Configure Tenant to Test Queries, ordered by name.

Good Idea...

Also consider adding it to the Configure Tenant to Test Queries and would also be appreciated in in Service Center whenever you need to choose a tenant!

Best regards,

Merged this idea with 'Autocomplete on Configure Tenant to Test Queries...' (created on 10 Jul 2019 21:29:47 by Alexandre Costa)

Hello guys, we manage a hundred of tenants... if it is possible please change the regular Combobox to an autocomplete one.

Merged this idea with 'Better Tenant selection on advanced query window' (created on 27 Feb 2018 11:49:09 by Ricardo Ferreira)

Currently, we choose tenants to test advanced queries in a triangle on the Test button.

This triangle is easily missed, which starts the test query on a unwanted tenant. There is also no way of knowing whats the currently selected tenant. Choosing a tenant automatically tests the query.

My suggestion is to sepparate this from the Test button. Put a combo box next to the button. This will allways show the currently selected tenant and is harder to miss. By choosing the combo, the test query shouldn't run.

Merged this idea with 'Order tenant names alphabetically inside of advanced SQL statement editor' (created on 27 Jun 2016 21:27:14 by Justin Babel)
Within the advanced SQL editor, when you click the 'Test' split button to choose a tenant, the tenant names aren't ordered alphabetically.

This should be consistent with clicking 'Module' > 'Configure Tenant to Test Queries...' list of tenant, that are listed alphabetically.
