Service Studio

Service studio, Modules should be auto saved if connection lost or service studio closed without warning

Currently sometimes it's saved and sometimes not

Result we have to do rework

There is auto-save functionality within Service Studio, only not easily configurable.

By default OutSystems auto-saves module changes every 10 minutes.

If you need to have more frequent save files, just save/publish more often manually.

For Windows (what I'm familiar with) 'powerusers', I know of the existence of one option, if you know where to look: %AppData%\Local\OutSystems\YourServiceCenterApplicationVersion
Then inside the Settings.xml find the AutoSaveInterval setting and alter it to your liking.

Disclaimer: Modifying system/application files is not a fully safe action, as this might alter the application to a non-usable state. Changing these files is at your own risk and no responsibility or liability can be asked from OutSystems nor me (Jeroen Bindels) when the application does become unusable.

Perhaps OutSystems can extend the Preferences window, because the amount of options that are currently available within OutSystems Service Studio is rather low.
