As an Infrastructure Admin, shouldn't there be an option to abort a deployment plan at specific stages of execution?

I understand that after a certain point in the deployment lifecycle, aborting may not be technically or operationally feasible. However, providing an option to safely abort the deployment during the initial or predefined stages would help administrators handle stuck or incorrectly triggered deployment plans without requiring support intervention.
