Producing documentation is crucial to any development environment.
As OutSystems protects its metadata, it is no less than a must that this is supported in the Java stack!

Re my remark on metadata:

• You are not supposed to query the metadata yourself (https://www.outsystems.com/help/ServiceStudio/8.0/Using_Data/Define_Advanced_Queries.htm)
• OutSystems does not provide a Metamodel API

So how would you ever get documentation out of the system?? Be it OutDoc or some other tool, one must be able to draw information out of the system.
Besides OutDoc, a Metamodel API would be very useful to build your own reports with.

SQL queryable Metamodel views mapped to read-only System entities would also be nice.
