Make description mandatory for forge components

I'll see more and more components comming (yeah!) but most of the time there isn't any information on what the component does. Would be nice if the description field becomes mandatory so there at least will be something to read.


Attached if example of componten that isn't clear what is does.

Hi Evert! Thanks for posting the idea. We often use Ideas only for Platform related issues, but it's great to see people using it as a place to make suggestions about the Community.

Hi Evert , 

During this and next quarter, we will work hard to grow the forge into a marketplace of high-quality components.

We will:

  • Review supported components based on usage and criticality
  • Provide an additional trusted level, for open-source components curated by OutSystems
  • Clean low-quality components from the forge, either improving or dropping

So I have set the status to “Working on it”. We expect it to be ready during Q3. I’ll post an update once it’s done!
