It would be nice to change an environment name. There are a few times where someone came up with a better name.

There are already tools to do that... Service Center and Lifetime?

I've tried Service Centre and although there is a value in the "Environment Name" box it won't let me change it. Do I need different permissions?

I found your idea/question when I encountered a similar issue today.


If the environment is managed by Lifetime you can not modify the name via the ServiceCenter Environment Configuration screen, it has to be modified via Lifetime.
