Option to create a structure with the same attributes as a selected entity. Clone the entity as a structure.

Hi Fernando. I asked the same thing and the good news is that you can already do it with Copy...Paste As Structure. See comments for idea "Create structure from entity type or convert entity type to structure".

OutSystems guys: perhaps it isn't very obvious within the toolset that you can do this?

Hi Doug, you're right it does paste as a structure.

I would like the ability to create a structure with attributes which match an entity type already defined. Also to convert an entity type into a structure. I want to retrieve information from external database tables via web services into structures and this would let me create entity definitions from the tables and then easily create the structures I really need. Or is there a better way?

Hi Doug,

i think i didn't understood your idea...If you want to create a structure that map an entity already existing, just copy that entity and paste as structure (is that what you need?)
