add buttom refresh preview data
Hi Michel,
You know that you can press Ctrl+L to refresh the aggregat's data preview?
Regards,
Daniel
yes I know. but a button next to it speeds... what do you think ?
Well I love the keyboard shortcuts, if we talk in terms of speed.
But I agree a refresh button is a nice improvement.
I Michel,
You have that "button" on right click. Isn't that enough?
Thanks for your feedback
Nuno, No, currently, "you can press Ctrl + L" to see the data, but input the button is a good improvement, taking advantage of what is already developed.
Good solution
In Service Studio, you can right click on an Entity and 'View Data'. However, when you do changes on the data on you application, doing a 'View Data' won't refresh what you are seeing on the Service Studio. Workaround is 'View Data' on another entity and then 'View Data' back on the entity you wanted to check.
Just saying it would be nice if you need not do the mentioned workaround.
That sounds more like a bug.
Does it work on your end that when you do it twice, it refreshes it?
The only time I see it refresh I when you add in filters or sorting.
Hi Juan,
We're not able to replicate that in here. Do you have the Auto-refresh enabled in preferences?
Also, you might want to know that when you right-click the canvas you have an option to refresh the data.

You guys are mis-reading... he wants to be able to refresh the data in "View Data" because the data itself has changed (because someone did something in the application, for example).

Despite having the close button, it on appears when you pop-out the view. When this happens looks like what was on the screen before dissapears.
Another useful idea could be a button to refresh the data, instead of closing and clicking on view data again.
Hi Pedro,
Although it may not be obvious, at least it wasn't for me, you can use CTRL+L to refresh the data preview.
As Miguel said, you can use CTRL+L to refresh, but we definitly need an obvious way out of the View Data screen. As it is, the breadcrumbs don't take you back to where you were and I end up using the back button at the top-left corner.
Cheers!
It used to be that you could right-click the aggregate results and select "Refresh Preview Data (Ctrl + L) but this option seems to have been removed from the right-click menu.
Aggregates and entities can be refreshed by pressing CTRL-L in data view. However there should be more ways to do it:
Dear All,Greetings of the dayIt would be great feature if we can add a simple Refresh Data Button in View Entity Data screen.Currently the challenge is, when we are developing something and need to check inserted/updated data frequently, we need to press back and forward again to load new data. (highlighted below in image)So if there will be a button, developers can click it and get the updated data directly without navigating. Its a very small point but can be considered as will be handy in development.Hope I am clear enough to explain my idea.Regards,Palak Patel
Hello Palak Patel,
You can already do that, two easy ways:
1) Right click, then click on Refresh preview data
2) You already see in that menu, as a shortcut, press Ctrl+L
Preview doesn't get auto-refreshed. If there could be a refresh icon , it would really help.
Hi,
CTRL+L in Windows is refreshing the data in aggregates and data preview.
