Not sure if this has been suggested before, I tried to search the keyword annotate and blame but didn't see any ideas on being able to see changes/history specific to an "object". let me know though if there's an existing idea.

This feature has been helpful to me when using VS. It presents to me a filtered changes that happened specific to line of code. In OS maybe it can be done by objects?
