Hi Team,

It will be better if we can add Escape Content Property to Expression in Reactive Web and Mobile apps

Thanks & Regards,

Ramesh Sirvi

Hi Rajat and Ramesh,

Thank you both for sharing your ideas. I’m marking this as “on our radar” since our users would benefit from this. Still no date for delivery, but we’ll keep an eye on it.

While this isn’t delivered, you can always consider using a JavaScript node to set the innerHTML of some widget, as Tiago suggests in this post. Or using the InjectHTML component made by the community member Jordan Welch.

Thanks again!

Thanks Vitor.. :)

Merged this idea with 'escape content feature is missing to add custom HTML code in Reactive web' (created on 12 Oct 2020 11:12:55 by Mahesh Manchala)

In traditional web, we can just write html stuff into expression and make "escape content" property to No. and replace double quotes with single codes.

This feature is missing in reactive web

Hi Maesh,

Thank you for your idea.

We are evaluating adding a pattern to show HTML in a future version of OutSystems UI. In the meantime you can use the InjectHTML component from the forge.

Thanks,
Tiago Simões
