Automatically filter the Suggestions in Properties Pane as develeopers type

When I click the field for, in this example, the List to clear in the ListClear Server Action, OS grabs a lot of lists for me to Suggest, but as I type, that list is not filtered to those lists starting with what I have typed:

If I double click List, the Expression Editor box appears and I can hit CTRL-SPACE for it to suggest a filtered list for me, like so:

That's awesome. Can we just move this filtered autocomplete behavior up one step to the screen I shotted above?

In the case below we have a dropdown with a lot of options but without a search, this makes very hard to find the option we want. Would be nice to have a searchable dropdown

Hey Marcelo,

This is very useful when we are dealing with Style Classes (that are usually a lot).

Do you feel this need in other scenarios?

Using Version 11.0.208.0

A lack of actual sugestions in the style classes selector exists, only a list of all the classes exists and fails to facilitate the user when choosing, the creation of an actual suggestion list in addition to the full list in alphabaetical order could help the user acelarate the choosing, the suggestions list could be organized with the page specific classes.

I'm happy to tell you that Service Studio is one step closer to your idea!

With today's release, you can now add multiple customized Style Classes (both in the Style and the Properties tab) to widgets using autocomplete suggestions.

Check it out!

It would be nice to have an autosuggest feature in properties tab of assign widget which could help faster the assignment process.


For example, if I have a entiry name "typoscript" and if I want to assign a value to its attribute. While writing typo, it suggest the relevant options with keywords I have written. Once I press (.), it can suggest the attributes of this entity.

What about adding intellisense options to assigning values in the bottom left of service studio? It works if you double click to open the assign value modal

but does not in the assign section bottom left
