Forums: The Reply To feature is great, but often the inclusion of the entire text body is too much, specially when there are multiple, embedded replies.

Often, a Forum user only wants to reply to part of a previous post.

Creating some sort of "highlight and reply" functionality would help here, to avoid needing to manually delete unwanted text from the original post.

This would also reduce the duplication of text and need for scrolling when reading a Forum thread end-to-end with lots of embedded replies.

I personally find it highly annoying that when someone replies to a post all content of that post is included. This includes the post(s) that the other replied upon. This creates an enormous post that doesn't improve readability.

There is a post in there that contains 3 replies and only the bottom one is needed for readability. 

Can the reply function be changed in such a way that only the message of the person that I replied to is included?
