As I said, back in 2017, that idea had just been half-implemented, so I think it would be very helpful if the SQL editor had matching parentheses highlighting as well.
Highlight brackets inside Adv. Queries can help read and organize the code...
This behavior is already implemented inside "Assigns".
The idea would be do the same but inside adv. queries.
Good Day,
I have trouble locating the end/beginning of the parenthesis when enclosing some condition using Advance SQL.
Hope that Outsystems will have an update to locate/highlight related parenthesis just like in expressions.
Thanks and regards

Hi Ricardo,
Thanks for your idea. We're working on this and expect to have it released at the end of this year or beginning of the next one.
Cheers,Tiago Simões
Thanks a lot, Tiago! Great to read that!
I'm glad to be helping build a better product.
Cheers!
When is this implementation reaching production? It would help a lot!
Hello everybody.
This feature was implemented on the newest Service Studio version, launched yesterday!
Cheers,Ricardo Lopes
Hi,
Awesome, this feature will help us to debug the query much faster. Thanks for adding this feature.
Regards,
Changed from "Implemented" to "Working on it" since the new IDE version is on GA for MAC but still in BETA for Windows.
Once the Windows BETA version goes GA, this idea can be considered Implemented.
If we could extend this feature to use different colors for multiple parentheses. It should work everywhere wherever we can use parenthesis including Expressions, Advanced SQL, Assignments, etc.
For Example:
(CustomDecimalToFormatedText(((GetVoulmes.Current.Price*2.13)%VarTotal)*GetConfiguration.Current.Val/100))
That would be a different Idea.
Hello everybody!
As Ricardo lopes stated this idea is implemented since the release of the new IDE version (11.53.7). I'm updating the status of the idea to implemented.
