Notify when Deployment using Lifetime is done with Summary Notes

Hi,

Currently we are facing one missing feature in OutSystems.

It will be better if we can get an Email notification when our Deployment is done using lifetime.
It can be a simple mail from OutSystems stating that Your deployment is done to {QA/PRD Server}.
It can also have deployment short summary.

This feature can be very useful as application with more objects and dependencies are always taking time and we need to check that manually everytime. So it should be automated and should notify user accordingly.

This email feature can be also extended to critical errors as well.

Hi Palak ,


Thank you for your idea! It's not in our plans to implement a feature to send an email after deployments.

Since you want to automate and orchestrate different deployment tasks, you could take advantage of LifeTime plugins (or external orchestrator as Jenkins) and LifeTime APIs to do achieve your need.

Hi Palak,

If you use Slack in your company, consider this LifeTimePlugin Slack Deployments, we use it and are very happy with it.

If your company uses Microsoft Teams you could try OutSystems To Teams forge component, I didn't try it, but it does the same job.

My idea is, we can implement the option after Deploy completed auto email notification to the IT user and log details with module details.
