Wouldn't it be great if you can apply for a review for the component that you already published on the Forge.

Just to make sure I understood your idea, you want to ask the community to code review your component right?

I know there are Moderators on the Forum, I can imagine the same for the Forge. Were there not also MVPs with a focus on the Forge. They need to review and mark a component as Verified/Trusted.

I can imagine for large application or complex components it is harder, but that means the app/component  should be well documented in both the Forge as in the modules. (Descriptions filled, comments attached to flows etc.). Well documented components should be well document as a prerequisite prior to review. And there should be interaction between the developer & the reviewer during this process.


The benefit of a process like this, is that the Forge gets a curated tone to it. Another benefit is that you can recommend verified components, they are prior to "regular components".

Last but not least, having the interaction between Developer & OutSystems Reviewers shows the engagement OutSystems achieves with their community. I have no doubt that there are community members among us that like to be a Moderator when it comes to this.
