It would be nice to have a public roadmap, higlighting where the platform is going, and when to expect the next releases. This should describe both .Net and Java platforms and their different goals and schedules. 

Besides allowing for some ahead planning, and giving some perspective, it could be a useful tool when choosing between both versions.
