Certify OutSystems 11 to be installed on MSSQL 2019. (We have a customer who would like this now)

Yes, this is a very good idea.

And its helpful for to use external database(Ms Sql).

We'd like Outsystems to officially support SQL Server 2019 for Platform 11/12.

This version of SQL Server got released approximately 2 years ago (Nov 4th, 2019) and we'd as a user of the Outsystems Platform are now severely limited in how recently we keep our database estate with current support from Outsystems only going up to SQL Server 2017.

This is implemented,

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and compatibility level 150, since Platform Server 11.12.0 1
    1 Developer and Express editions of Microsoft SQL Server (any version) are not supported.

With the release of the Platform Server 11.12.0, OutSystems added support for SQL Server 2019 and compatibility level 150. This applies to the platform database, as well as external databases.
