When we have a complex SQL object with multiple parameters and something goes wrong is difficult to find which parameter is the problem. It would be fantastic during debugging can execute an SQL object parameter by parameter. It would make it very easy to find an exception for example that is occurring in the SQL object without the need to separate the parameters where I think the problem is.

We adopted Google BigQuery as the central database for storing, processing, and analyzing large volumes of information. Currently, the integration between OutSystems and BigQuery depends on custom solutions (via APIs or external drivers), which leads to: Increased development and maintenance effort; Risks related to data security and governance; Loss of efficiency in delivering critical business projects. A native integration is essential to ensure alignment with market best practices, simplify development workflows, and enable the scalability of ongoing digital solutions. Proposed Technical Requirements Authentication and Authorization Support for OAuth 2.0 (end-user consent via Google Identity). Support for Service Accounts (server-to-server integrations, preferably with temporary credentials). IAM Permission Management Compatibility with the minimum required roles (roles/bigquery.dataViewer, roles/bigquery.user, roles/bigquery.jobUser). Connection Layer Consumption of official APIs (REST/gRPC). Alternatively, support for official JDBC/ODBC drivers. Query Execution Synchronous and asynchronous queries (jobs). Result pagination handling. Monitoring of running jobs with jobId return. Data Type Compatibility Support for primitive types (STRING, INT64, FLOAT64, NUMERIC, TIMESTAMP). Complex structures (STRUCT, ARRAY) with JSON fallback when necessary. Network and Security Connections via HTTPS/TLS 1.2+. Support for Private Google Access and VPC Service Controls. Limits and Quotas Handling Retry with exponential backoff for transient errors. Configurable concurrency control. Monitoring and Auditing Logging of integration events. Compatibility with Cloud Audit Logs. Expected Impact For Equatorial, the availability of this functionality means: Reduced effort and development time in critical integrations; Increased security in accessing sensitive data; Improved performance in analytical queries; Assurance of compliance with established governance and regulatory practices. Our ask is for a native connection, same way we have in the Connections tab in the ODC Portal, to connect with the Google BigQuery database.

When we have a personal email on our community profile and open a support case for a customer, it might be a bit strange that appear a personal email on the support case.It would be great to have the possibility to change the related email of that support case to our company email or even to our provided client email.Thank you,PS: Hermínio Mira (https://www.outsystems.com/profile/h1qpxpoite/) helped me on this idea.

Some site properties represent passwords, it would be good to have their values masked in Service Center. There should be a checkbox on the Site Property in Service Studio to mark this option. J.Ja

On large structures it would be useful to have a function to set all attributes to Public

Currently, OutSystems allows exporting the BPT Process Flow as an image, which is very useful for documentation and communication. However, this export only shows the high-level activities and does not include the logic implemented inside each activity. Adding the ability to export the internal logic of BPT Activities as an image would complement the existing Process Flow export, allowing developers to capture both the high-level process view and the detailed activity implementation.

Hi all,I think that we can have a section of OS Merch (with swagg and stuff) where we can buy all kind of stuff related with Outsystems. Many times I heard people saying that want some cool shirts, mugs or pins and don't mind paying for it :D.Best regards,Ricardo M Pereira

Can we have a library or component through which we can create the form along with validations using the power of AI. If we want to create a particular form we can just type a prompt like ‘Create a form for customer/user onboarding’ and it generates labels, validations, fields, etc using AI. (Integrations and connections can be made to the AI) Is this a possible thing to do.? It may serve as an accelerator. Your suggestions and insights are encouraged and welcome. Thank you!

When we use a JavaScript code is possible to call actions, but is not possible to call events, the only solution is to create a client action and call the event there, but it should be useful to call the event directly.

I would really like to see multi-dimensional structures in the future, right now its pretty complex to build xml based on the current implementation of structures, and local variables are not an option because when the xml changes you have to change them everywhere in your application (because they are copy-pasted over) When you have a medium sized xml and have a structure that uses other structures to represent it, the number of structures quickly grows, resulting in over a hundred easily for an app that uses only 10 medium sized xml's. A way of grouping them (other then prefixing the name) is needed, or a way to make one single structure multileveled (why not? the underlying xml in the outsystems platform itself supports it right?) With the multileveled structures also comes the need for a good mapper like we see in ESB products like Tibco, MuleStudio etc. (instead of just the assign which takes much time/work to make complex mappings with) Like this: Or this: It would make working with XML, and exchanging information with other XML/Soap based applications much easier, and Outsystems as a platform more mature.
