Events in ODC is a great step towards an event driven architecture. In the current implementation, it only allows for server side consumers and I'd like to see that expanded to client side consumers as well. Imagine I'm building a real time application with OutSystems and I want my UI to be refreshed as soon as some backend process is done. Currently, I need to manually integrate with some web socket / server sent event service to achieve this functionality. From my experience this is a convoluted process that requires a lot of time and the purchase of third party services. This is not the low code way. Since now OutSystems has the Event primitive, it's the perfect time to add this capability.

It will be helpful if the number of AOs an application and its espace consume is displayed as a badge icon over the application/espace.In Service Studio the total AOs could be displayed per espace when viewing the application's espaces as per this image:In Service Studio when viewing all Applications, indicate it as below:In LifeTime indicate it as below:Here it will give a quick way of determining the AO impact when a deployment is to be done to the next environment.

Hi everyone, It would be great if we could text search a css class in the CSS like we do on adobe reader. With this I believe a lot of time could be saved. cheers.

I'd like to be able to remove some attributes or connections from the Diagram without affecting the database. Only to make them more readable.Example: I'm analyzing entities related with User and all of them have an extra connection because of the CreatedBy field. I'd like to remove the field or the connection from the screen to make the diagram easier to read, but not to really delete it.I hoped this Hide/Show attributes in Diagram was what I was looking for, but I need more.

When looking for components in the forge, a big "green flag" is the "trusted" badge. Right now, from the 7033 components available, only 63 are trusted (<1%). It seems to me that the community would greatly benefit from more trusted components. From my experience, asset reviews are not being conducted - I have assets awaiting review for more than a year, and I'm sure people have been waiting a lot longer. I see multiple benefits from OutSystems dedicating more resources to the asset review process: More trustworthy components Feedback loop - developers will learn how to build better components Incentivization - developers will know that getting the trusted badge is a possibility and will produce higher quality assets Etc.

It would be very useful to have a system event similar to OnApplicationReady but like OnSessionEnd or OnSessionExpire. The idea would be that whenever the user's session expires, the event is triggered and the necessary actions can be taken when the session ends.

One of the worst problems is when literals are hard coded. It is really bad for maintainability, you have to change them one by one and you can never know if you have changed them all. I would like it if there was a way to have an overview of all the places where hard coded strings are used for coding. For example if a text is used in an if-statement or together with an '=' mark it as a finding.

The Object data type can be used to communicate data to and from extensions, but isn't much of use otherwise. Furthermore, it is not possible to use an Object as attribute in a structure, and I'm not sure whether Objects should be possible in a List (they are, but kinda via a workaround, even as attribute). Also, many Forge components dealing with generic data force the user to use RecordLists, as there's no other way to alter data in an extension. My proposal:1) Allow structure attributes of type Object;2) Officially allow Lists (and Record Lists) of type Object;3) Have a FromObject function that reverses ToObject (and throws an exception when incompatible types are used), so extensions that manipulate generic data (e.g. XML Records) can output Records as well as Lists. An Object will never be a "first class citizen", but they have their uses, and the proposals above would make the life of the advanced developer a little bit better when dealing with abstract data.
