Introduce Tiered Rankings (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, etc) for Members
Created on 03 Jan
Sherif El-Habibi

In many online games with ranking systems, such as League of Legends, players are grouped into tiers and divisions like Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, etc. Each tier reflects a player’s experience and performance, such as how long they’ve been playing and how many wins they’ve achieved. While this is mainly a very simple UI concept, it’s actually a very cool one 😄 For example, if a user’s rank is above 50,000, they could be placed in a tier like Bronze, which can be displayed on their profile and also used as a filter when browsing members. If their rank is below 6,000, they could be Silver, and so on for the other tiers. Features like this were very motivating for me personally. They encourage users to progress for the next tier within the community, serving as a strong source of motivation alongside of course the other elements like badges and achievements. On top of that, tier-based badges could also be added, such as Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum badges when a user reaches one of these tiers, to further reinforce progression and recognition.

Allow usage of List actions on Client Actions that are functions
Created on 27 Nov 2019
David Sousa

We can use the List actions (ListAppend, ListAny, etc) inside Server Actions that are marked as a function. However, this isn't the case for Client Actions. Right now we have, for example, to implement or own ListAppend in Javascript, if we want to keep the action as a function. With this idea implemented, the List actions would have the same behavior for Server and Client actions, allowing us to use them inside Client Actions marked as functions.

Make the opening of handler actions easier
Created on 16 Feb 2021

Hello community!I want to suggest a small functionality that, in my case and probably yours, will reduce some extra interactions with Service Studio. When I want to access the handler action of an event, I have to look for it in the screen actions. In case there are many screen actions, it will add some small extra time (but this is done multiple times). The suggestion I propose is to allow to open the handler action directly from the handler field. In the case of this screenshot, I want to open the DataField_OnChange_Validate.If you have another solution to make this interation more clean, be free to suggest it.Cheers,António Pereira

Architecture Dashboard - Severity of issues
Created on 15 Dec 2021

Hi,It is a great idea to provide severity of issues on the architecture dashboard - something like Sonar and checkmarx. So the teams can focus on Sever issues first (like Very high, high, medium, low). Something similar to Impact - but impact right now does not show a level of impact.Right now Architecture Dashboard provides everything according to category - but not according to severity. This similar kind of severity based analysis report is provided by paid subscriptions like OmNext, Boncode etc. however since we already have this similar report right out of the box in architecture Dashboard, then why not include it here. Thanks !Vikas

Be able to deploy custom on lifetime on mobile / reactive applications
Created on 14 Oct 2020
Patrícia Ferreira

Currently, lifetime allows us to deploy custom (ability to choose some modules of an application to be deployed) for web applications. The same option is not available for mobile and reactive applications. I would like to see that option available so that I can deploy modules separately without the need of creating<new applications.

Integrations Log: Hide system stuff by default

99.9999999% of the time when I look at Integrations Log, I don't want to see Performance Probe, license checks, publishing stuff, etc. Hide that ALL unless I check a box. Integrations Log is basically useless without doing searching a filtering because of this.J.Ja

Option to display Prod data in aggregates/SQL
Created on 10 Oct 2022

Prod data is not always so confidential to developers that it really needs to be hidden in Service Studio. Having it available makes it much easier to solve problems in Prod.A flag to display or not could be available to admin.

If someone is new to the outsystem community they don’t know how to ask question in the forum. So there can be a guided path or article where person can go and see how to ask question in forum also how to mark a question as solution. As I have seen many people come and ask how to mark any reply as solution. So anything in the starting of the forum can be some guidelines to use. Thanks

Ability to view BlockedUsers and LoginAttempts for all USERS
Created on 12 Sep 2017
Alan Telford(Maxtel)

I have two needs.show ALL USERS who currently are blocked from a LOGIN.Show the most recent LoginAttempts for ALL users.Neither are these are handled well from the USERS espace.Regarding #1, the IPAddress_GetBlocks server action can be used to quickly show ALL IP addresses which are currently in a blocked state. There should be an equivalent USERS_GetBlocks action to return the blocking state of ALL users.Currently I would have to loop through all 8000+ users and individually call User_GetBlockedStatus before I could know this information.Regarding #2 - the USERS espace has a public page (although it's not in the menu) e..g https://my.environment.com/Users/GetUserLoginAttempts.aspx which allows me to quickly view all login attempts. But this doesn't work for a multi-tenant application. It only shows LoginAttempts in the default USERS module. A simple solution would be either:a) Expose the LoginAttempt table as PUBLIC + READ ONLY; then we could easily query it.b) A new serveraction e.g . IPAddress_GetLoginAttempts which would optionally pass the UserName/IPAddress to filter on.Our support team is frustrated at the lack of ability to easily view the recent login attempts, and this would greatly ease the situation.
